AKROLITHOS SA has OHSAS 18001: 2007 (Health and Safety Management System). AKROLITHOS 'policy is to provide customers with products that fully meet their quality requirements and expectations. In order to carry out its activities under conditions that ensure the health and safety of the employees, AKROLITHOS SA decided to develop and implement a System for the Management of Workers' Health and Safety, in accordance with the international standard OHSAS 18001: 2007 / ELOT 1801 : 2008. AKROLITHOS SA undertakes: • Manage work in such a way that the optimal quality result is achieved at the same time as optimal utilization of resources and staffing potential, providing security for the personnel and the community. • Keep an eye on the impact of the company's activities on health and safety, with regard to employees in the company as well as the wider society, and take appropriate measures, primarily preventive and, secondly, repressive. • Set measurable targets and develop corresponding programs to improve health and safety conditions. • Business executives constantly focus on improving quality and managing health and safety in their area of responsibility. • Ensure communication with all involved parties - staff, suppliers, local community, partner companies - on health and safety issues that touch the entire range of company activities to evaluate all relevant data. • Continually training its health and safety staff to renew knowledge and ensure worker participation and collaboration. • Comply with the relevant Greek and Community Health and Safety Legislation for its activities. The management of AKROLITHOS SA asks all employees to actively participate and faithfully implement the procedures mentioned in the Health and Safety Management System. The Management of AKROLITHOS SA, through the Chairman and Managing Director, declares that he strongly supports the spirit and the letter of the Health and Safety Policy as expressed in the Management System documentation, providing all the necessary resources and resources.
